#1 Abe Lincoln - People are just about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

I'm in one of those introspective, calm moods where all those little frustrations I've had all week seem petty and easily solved.

(That's pretty normal on a weekend. Just wait for Monday.)

Anyway, before I start to get manic-depressive and miserable and mourning-Monday, it's time to show myself how incredibly exaggerated my worries are. First of all, it must be said that to err is human. So for those people who've been pissing me off quite astonishingly well this past week... they're only human. Even if they're supposedly deserving of my respect. Even if they're supposedly more mature and wise and reasonable etc etc; still, they're not perfect. They have their insecurities and anger and bad days like all of us.

Next, it's important to forgive. No need for elaboration.

Third! To be effective, be clear. I haven't been as clear on many things as I should have been. As a person who receives orders and instructions I like to have them detailed and straightforward, unquestionable from sheer clarity. I like that. Needless to say it makes them so much easier to follow. I'll give clearer and less subjective orders next time.

I enjoy athletics and should be cool with competition. Losing isn't a sin. Berating yourself when you've given it your all - that's a sin.

So now I'll have a little wish:
I wish I were a more dedicated student.

And a wish granted:
It's a weekend, plenty of time to do what I want.

Now off to bed - laku noć!
